yep, he is good. :)
Thursday night, 10:40 pm , in the Barbi club, full packed, no place to sit, accompanied by my musicholic Ruti (who was the one that dragged me there :) ) ,
The show start slow, only Asaf with acoustic guitar playing few songs , some are very polished , others deserve a few more rehearsals.
When the slow and silent start was over, Asaf summoned to the stage the Mojos.
The Mojos - bass, guitar , drums , and (surprise..) a cello player (a girl to double the surprise).
The bass player, a tall gaunt guy, wore a hat that reminds me the old Micheal Jackson days . (and to my opinion was very Tafsan .. )
The drummer didn't waste time and remove the shirt right on, well you can't blame him . He had a hard work in front of him :)
and the real show started.
All in all was good , the Mojos play very tight, and accurate, you can see right on that they play for a long time together.
The only minus I can think of is that it was a bit too long, and to a person that never heard the albums , one can think that he is hearing the same song for two hours. ( a common effect when you don't know the artist very well before the show )
Another minus, is that apparently Asaf and the Mojos already have stupid groupies that accompany them, they sit front row center, and they don't miss any opportunity to yell how much they are in love with him.
One thing I am quite sure of though, is that mister Asaf Avidan will loose his voice very soon if he will continue to burn it like that every show....
